APPAREL DESIGN CHAIR

ALPHA EPSILON PI FRATERNITY (ASU)

BACKGROUND

As the Apparel Design Chair, my role was a lot more extensive than just making custom apparel for the fraternity. I worked closely with all of the other positions in the frat (Rush Chair, Social Chair, President and Vice President, Brotherhood Chair, and Philanthropy Chair) and provided in house design solutions to all members. This included creating rush cards, social media graphics, themes for each rush season, and collaborations with charitable organizations.

GRAPHICS

These designs were the backbone of the rush process (marketing to acquire new members), and I was responsible for coming up with a theme (replicating a brand) for each season.

APPAREL DESIGNS

In designing the apparel, it was necessary to use the same graphics for the apparel, which was a key aspect in marketing the fraternity. These shirts were worn by all members on/off campus, and most notably, in all events during the rush season. In a sense, members of the fraternity became mobile advertisements.

SOCIAL MEDIA DESIGNS

For social media, my role was to make the graphics and flyers for all social media accounts associated with the fraternity. These would be posted, edited by other members of the fraternity, and used for social event invites.
